Chamber Singers of Iowa City

is a nonprofit choir that focuses on choral/orchestral repertory, having recently performed Vaughan William’s Mass in G Minor, Handel’s Messiah, Haydn’s The Creation, and Orff’s Carmina Burana. Supported by membership dues, donations and ticket sales, Chamber Singers has been performing in the Iowa City area since 1970.

Auditions

Open auditions for the 2009-2010 season will be held in August, 2009. Exact dates and scheduling information will be posted soon on the auditions page.
