Nebraska Wesleyan University choir to perform at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church

On Friday May 15 at 7 pm, choirs from Nebraska Wesleyan University perform at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church at 140 Gathering Place Lane, Iowa City. Entitled “Only Light...Only Love”, the Nebraska Wesleyan University Choir and Gold Standard Singers travel from Lincoln, Nebraska, to Iowa City to share compelling music that encourages us to be a light in the darkness of our world and to reach out in love. When I first moved to Iowa City, I knew that I wanted the director, Tom Trenney, to bring one of his choirs to perform at St. Andrew, so this collaboration has been years in the making. 

This inspiring program is free of charge with a free will offering. In addition, I’m looking for overnight hosts for the singers in groups of 2 or more. Hosts will pick up singers after the concert (around 8:30 pm) and drop them off at St. Andrew by 8:30 am on Saturday May 16. If you can help out, please contact Austen at awilson@saintandrew-ic.org.
