“The Choral” opens at Film Scene on Jan. 16th.

The Choral, a 2025 British historical drama, stars Ralph Fiennes who
plays Dr. Guthrie, a choirmaster in Yorkshire during World War I who
recruits teenage boys and girls to keep his choral society going as men
enlist, exploring music and humanity amidst war. Directed by Nicholas
Hytner and written by Alan Bennett, it's a new film that premiered in
late 2025 and has gotten very good reviews.
