Interested in joining Chamber Singers?

Auditions for Chamber Singers of Iowa City’s 2023-2024 season will take place on July 17 and 18!

We’re seeking singers for all vocal parts. We hope you’ll lend us your lovely voice for the season, or that you’ll help us convince your singer friends to put their talents to use with a close-knit ensemble performing brilliant music at a high level!

Please prepare a short, unaccompanied solo for your audition. Feel free to choose any style, so long as it portrays your voice at its best. We will not have you sing your entire piece, just a few phrases. We’ll also do some vocalizing to ascertain your range, and exercises for
pitch matching and sight reading. Auditions only take about 8-10 minutes.
