“Waiting and Watching” is Just Around the Corner!
May is upon us, and that means Chamber Singers of Iowa City’s spring concert, “Waiting and Watching,” is only a few weeks away! We’ve been hard at work preparing this diverse program of truly engrossing music — featuring time-honored works by Mendelssohn, Bizet, Saint-Saëns, and Holst, as well as contemporary masterpieces by Eric Whitacre, Tarik O’Regan, and Shawn Kirchner.
Sunday, May 20th, 3 pm, at First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City, CSIC will sing under the baton of guest conductor Dr. Robert Demaree of the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and the Dubuque Chorale.
